Ellyn Hefner for OK House District 87
The Oklahoma Democratic Veterans Federation strongly supports the re-election of Ellyn Hefner to House District 87. The daughter and sister of US Navy Veterans, Representative Hefner’s duties have brought her in touch with many more Veterans, including legislative colleagues. She knows that veterans and military families face problems with housing and with medical care, including access to mental health care. She knows that these problems are compounded when military families relocate and must find specialized doctors, enroll in new schools, and adjust to new rules in new states. Ellyn Hefner is also a resource for service-related children and adults seeking disability services outside the VA system.
